A Welcome from our Artistic Director
As the Artistic Director, I enjoy the annual challenge of curating a program that is diverse, inclusive, provocative, curious, and soothing—one that brings the full spectrum of human emotions into the mix. It is a privilege to shape a season that invites reflection, inspires wonder, and offers comfort to you, our cherished concert patrons.
This marks Magisterra’s ninth season in partnership with Museum London for the Magisterra at the Museum concert series, and I am thrilled to invite you to join Magisterra Soloists for another unforgettable year of music! Once again, we welcome extraordinary musicians from around the globe—each bringing their unique artistry, stories, and passion to our stage.
This summer also marked an exciting milestone for Magisterra Soloists as we completed our first commercial recording for UK based Toccata Records —a celebration of the richly textured works of Ferdinand Thieriot, his String Octet and String-Wind Octet. We can’t wait to share these recordings with you soon!
Equally exciting, last season we launched our new Sensory Concert Series—a pilot project that quickly grew into a resounding success. Designed to create welcoming musical experiences for individuals with autism, learning differences, and sensory sensitivities, these concerts have deepened our commitment to accessibility and inclusion. We look forward to expanding this initiative and hope to see you there!
From the emotional depth of our annual Holocaust Remembrance Concert to the grandeur of our Masterworks program, this season blends beloved traditions with fresh discoveries that will surprise and inspire.
True to our mission, selected Magisterra Fellows will have the opportunity to hone their skills alongside experienced artists. Every concert is a meeting place—where music, history, and human connection come together in the shared magic of live performance.
Come be part of the journey!
Annette-Barbara Vogel
Artistic Director

We may have been quiet, but definitely not idle!
Behind the scenes, Magisterra Soloists have been hard at work recording our very first commercial album. Featuring the captivating String Octet and String-Wind Octet by Ferdinand Thieriot, this recording marks an exciting new chapter for us.
